Pre-Owned Steinway & Sons model L grand piano for sale. Made in New York in 1995, this 5’10.5″ grand piano is ideal for most homes. This piano had one adult owner, light use, and was maintained by the technician for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. PianoWorks detailed the hand-rubbed satin finish and then serviced the piano to be fresh for its next owner. It really is in excellent condition inside and out. Steinway introduced the model L as a slight variation of the model O in 1922. In ~2004, Steinway reintroduced the model O to unify production with Hamburg factory. According to Theodore Steinway, the L was subtle improvement over the model O of the same size. To us, it’s about the individual examples, and this is one beautiful instrument with Steinway’s classic warm and lush tone.
If new, New York List Price for Steinway model O in satin ebony is $106,700 (The Piano Buyer, Fall 2024).
Includes matching artist bench, 5 year PianoWorks warranty.
Visit us for this gently pre-owned Johannes Seiler baby grand piano in white with nickel hardware. Made in 2018, this nearly new piano is a rare find. At 5’3″ in length, this piano will fit in nearly any room, but is still long enough to have a full and rich tone.
In addition to nickel hardware (casters, hinges, plate hardware), the harp is also finished in a stunning metallic silver. The cabinet style is called the “Louvre” with turned Victorian legs and open music desk, as well as details on the rim.
*The piano is snow white, not ivory. It was quite a challenge to photograph, but looks stunning in person.
Since 1849, Seiler has made many of the finest pianos for homes and small halls. This famed German maker has a legacy of innovation and adaptation supporting generations of musicians. This piano is yet another rare find from PianoWorks, and a little history will set the stage. Twelve years ago, Seiler expanded their offerings to a multitude of lines. In addition to their traditional German line, they added clones of their best German models made in Indonesia. The German SE126 design was also assembled in Indonesia to create the popular ED126, part of the ED Series. This piano was part of that early brand expansion as they tried different lines and price points…this ES series begins in Indonesia and is finally assembled in Germany. While the quality was excellent and the price was less than the traditional German line, Seiler USA ultimately decided they didn’t need so many models and price points. That brings us to this instrument…this legacy model was assembled in Germany in 2014. The piano spent its life at the US headquarters, used for dealer and technical training sessions. It still has the plastic wrap on the pedals. This New/Old Stock German Seiler upright piano has never been sold and comes with a 5 year parts & labor warranty at an unheard of price.
At 49″ tall, this professional upright offers a full and refined tone. The action is smooth and responsive, giving pianists the control they desire. This is also a beautiful piano with subtle and elegant curves. Freshly tuned and serviced, this piano is so ready to finally have a home.
