For decades, Baldwin was the largest piano maker in the world, and the success of their Artist models propelled them to recruit the biggest artists for the grandest stages. This Baldwin comes from the height of their power and reputation.
Sadly, corporate mismanagement ravaged the company before it was sold off and production went fully overseas. However, it’s Baldwin’s recent history that makes these wonderful American made classics so undervalued in the market and a perfect opportunity to find this premium instrument on a budget.
The last time this model was available from US factory (nearly 20 years ago) a Baldwin L retailed for $48,480.
