PianoWorks & Gwinnett County Music Teachers present the 2026 Parade of American Music!
The National Federation of Music Clubs observes American Music Month annually in November through the Parade of American Music.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all instruments and voice, all ages;
music must be by an American composer (U.S. born or naturalized).
PERFORMANCE:
5 minutes or less; memorization optional.
REGISTRATION:
Please include name of performer, title of selection, composer & teacher’s name.
RECOGNITION:
All performers receive a certificate & an American gift.
First Come, first served. Limited spaces available.

Each year, PianoWorks hosts concerts with a variety of artists and genres including Classical, Jazz, New Age, Pop & Standards & more. While we do not have a regularly scheduled concert season, they are spread throughout the year. Our venue regularly seats 120, so it is a wonderful and rare chance for such intimate performances and opportunity to meet and speak with the artists. Some of the award-winning performers are local, but many are national or international.
The events are always affordable, many offer discounts for piano students, and a few are free. Finally, we are located just a few blocks from downtown Duluth, filled with great restaurants and pubs to make a night of it.
