Famed American piano maker Knabe has a rich history of piano building and design going back to the early 19th century. Their advanced designs peaked during the Golden Age of Pianos in the early 1900’s. Today, Knabe recreates one of those premium models in this 5’8″ grand piano with the original Baltimore scale. Knabe was well known as the official piano of the Metropolitan Opera as well as Gershwin’s inspiration when he composed at his Knabe piano in his home.
