Schimmel 49" Model 122KE (2001)
Personally signed by Nikolaus W. Schimmel, this elegant Schimmel upright piano is that rare, gently used, highest-quality instrument.  The Schimmel model 122KE was originally made in 2001 and autographed at a reception to honor Klavierbauermeister Nikolaus Schimmel on one of his last visits to the United States.  This piano also includes a leather artist bench.  If new, the MSRP is $30,490.

This is your dream piano.  Like it rolled off the factory floor, this piano is perfect!  Schimmel has long been the best selling German piano in both the US & in Germany.  Schimmel rarely makes these hand-rubbed ebony satin finishes, but the effect is gorgeous and more maticulous than any Steinway.  The detailed interior far surpasses even most top-tier instruments.

Hidrau Model (HM) Hydraulic Piano Bench
Hidrau Model, or HM, has been manufacturing many of the finest piano benches in Europe for years.  Now available in the U.S.A., these contemporary style benches are quickly becoming the most sought after for their purposeful and clean design, their sturdy construction, and their luxurious comfort.

With this design, height adjustments are quick and easy by controlling a lever.  There are no knobs that stick out, no complex mechanism to service, no linkage that causes the bench to wobble or rock over time.  This bench is also longer (30") than standard artists benches (often room for two).  The height range is over 5" when most good artist benches have a range of 3".  They are perfect for performance halls, for teaching studios (where student after student needs a different height), and they are also great for European uprights like Schimmel, and C.
