doctorate at Julliard in piano performance,
Dr. Laul returned to Estonia and bought the
Estonia Piano Factory in Tallinn in 1994,
soon after Estonia gained its national
independence. Alongside his mother and
father, who oversee production, Dr. Laul and
his family quickly elevated the status of
the Estonia Pianos. Their strategy has
included only 3 sizes of grands, unique
design features, meticulous master quality
handcrafting, the best materials and limited
production of less than 400 pianos a year to
achieve optimal quality control.
